My name is Fauve and I'm a Kambo Facilitator based in West Yorkshire, trained and certified by the Kambo Practitioner Alliance.
My mission is to offer safe, ethical and transformative Kambo experiences to those seeking healing and personal growth.
Kambo is a powerful secretion derived from the Phyllomedusa Bicolor tree frog, a species native to the Amazon rainforest.
This ancient remedy is believed to have been used for thousands of years by indigenous tribes to cleanse the body of negative energies, combat infections, boost fertility and enhance stamina, particularly before embarking on hunts.
In Western culture, Kambo is used for a wide variety of purposes, including but not limited to detoxification, boosting the immune system, enhancing energy levels, improving mental clarity, clearing the energy field and fostering natural healing, while promoting overall emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.
Kambo secretion is not a poison or venom, as it is not believed to be used by the frog for defensive or predatory purposes. Research indicates that the secretion serves as a natural sunscreen, shielding the frog's delicate skin during dry seasons. This unique adaptation has lead to the creation of a bioactive substance, rich in compounds that interact synergistically with human physiology. Kambo is known to contain powerful peptides which interact with cell receptors , acting as natural messengers that trigger specific biological changes.
Kambo is administered through small 'gates' - superficial burns on the top layer of the skin that allow the treatment to be absorbed rapidly via the lymphatic system. The application process is quick and generally feels like a brief, mild scratch. Typically, this sacred healing tool is applied to the arm or leg, and the gates are then treated with Dragon's Blood (a sap derived from the Croton Lechleri tree) at the conclusion of your session. Though the marks will remain for a short period, they will gradually fade as they heal naturally.
Once your completed Health Questionnaire has been reviewed and any intentions and/or questions have been addressed, your 'gates' will be prepared. Next, you'll begin drinking between 1-1.5 litres of water whilst your Practitioner prepares the Kambo points.
A 'Test Point' will be applied to assess your response before determining the number of points to be used during your treatment. The process typically lasts between 20-45 minutes. Afterwards, you'll be invited to stay for a while to rest, reflect and enjoy a herbal tea and some fruit, if you wish.
Kambo is not a licensed medicinal product and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.
